The WordPress repository houses just over 29,000 plugins. Below is a beautiful Wordle that gives us a pretty good representation of what a majority of the plugins are about.
There are 602 plugins that have the word “posts” in them, hence why posts is so large in the Wordle. Comments with 398 references in the list of plugins, coming in second behind posts.
I created this Wordle because I thought it would be a fun representation of which WordPress plugins are available to download in the repository.
